Gamel O’Brien is a kiwi arts graduate and filmmaker, specialising in art direction.
After graduating Otago University, she studied Photography and Production Design in London, UK, and in 2019 completed a Diploma in Screen Production in Wellington, NZ.
Since then she has worked in television and film, as well as producing her own work independently.
Gamel is fully set up technically for livestreaming and recording of events.
She first began working with A Stone’s Throw Productions in 2017 as a mentor in schools for their ‘Filmmakers in Schools’ initiative, and has gone on to be a regular member of the team for their Oamaru-based projects.
